The Education Department in Western Australia is organising a ‘fashion fundraiser’ for the Queensland Disaster Relief on Friday 28^th January and are hoping that you may able to contribute to the effort!

We’re organising an event similar to a Clothes Swap, except that we are charging a $5 entry fee and are actually selling on pre-loved (but good quality!) or new women’s clothing to our friends and colleagues for small but reasonable amount.

We’re hoping for donations of any ladies clothes, shoes, handbags or accessories that we could sell at our event.

ALL funds raised will be going to the Queensland Disaster Relief.

As we keep hearing on the news regarding the Queensland situation, it is the ‘kindness of strangers’ that is evident now more than ever.

Please help spread the word by clicking ATTEND on the Facebook Page – this event page can reach so many more lovely vintage lovers that way – you don’t even have to come along, but you can still be there in spirit! ?

As part of Perth Cultural Centre Open Day 2011, Made on the Left will be holding a one day Pop-Up Market in the beautiful surroundings of the Cultural Centre. The day will have events including free tours of the newly opened State Theatre Centre, and the closing weekend of the Peggy Guggenheim exhibition at the Art Gallery of WA.

As part of the open day, a number of free events and entertainment will also be programmed in the space.
