The Karrikesh
Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010I have a litte tip for you. The Karrikesh. A new holiday accomodation in Karridale. It’ll make you feel like a princess from Marrakesh in no time! Originally a church, it has been re-born as an open living plan space featuring its own kitchen, two bedrooms with queen beds, a verandah overlooking natural bush and a daybed on the deck. Perfect for that luxury weekend getaway!
Vintage in Tokyo
Saturday, March 13th, 2010Recently I headed to Japan for a holiday with my love Benjamin.
So, naturally whilst in Tokyo I thought I’d see if I could find some vintage. Unfortunately I didn’t find anything for the shop but plenty pour moi! Here are my tips for you if you’re heading that way…
Harajuku, Tokyo. Awesome place. Great for the shopper! I had heard of two main shops here. Finding them seemed to be determind by what tube stop you get off at but ask any of the locals. They’ll fall over trying to help you out! Spend the day at Harajuku. There really is that much to see and eat and do!
There are two massive ones right on top of each other. One called Kinji and the other called Hanjiro. Kinji is at basement level and Hanjiro on the first floor.
Kinji

Hanjiro

I also dragged my Ben out to a place called Shimo-kitazawa which is a University student area with vintage shops a plenty!
